We started in 2016 when our Managing Director was approached by a local Bus operator in Coventry and was asked to retrofit his Dennis Trident buses to DDA standards, owing to forthcoming changes in regulations. The task was completed successfully, on time and within budget, and RGI Bus refurbishment were then commissioned to carry out extra work in the way of flooring replacement on the same fleet.

We also started to re-market various second hand Buses for the small to medium bus operator with great success. Some of the buses were in need of a little TLC, and so where needed, we started to make adjustments and cosmetic enhancements before finding them new homes. In the process we became specialists in converting twin-door configuration buses to single-door vehicles, up-seating, painting, re-upholstering, re-flooring, all the time ensuring these buses were able to satisfy DDA regulations and testing by VOSA/DVSA. We also bought some buses that had been involved in road traffic collisions, and repaired and refurbished these so that they could be put back on the road. We continue to work with various leasing companies and well-known large bus operators who market their vehicles through us.

In 2017 we moved into our modern 4500 sq ft premises in Southam, Warwickshire, in the heart of the Midlands, surrounded by fantastic transport links to the rest of the country. This allows clients to access our services easily, and for us to have a dedicated workshop. Although easily accessible by road, we are more than happy to work with our clients to arrange collection, depending on individual need.

In 2022 we again moved to larger premises but still on the same trading estate.
